Maison Caïs de Pierlas


Située au bout du cours saleya et au pied de la colline du chateau, cette demeure qui date du 17eme siecle fut rachetée au 18ème siècle par la famille Caïs de Pierlas qui l'embellira.Henri Matisse habitera cette maison de 1921 à 1938.


Located at the end of the Cours Saleya and the foot of Castle Hill, this house dates from the 17th century was bought in the 18th century by the family of Caïs Pierlas who embellish. Henri Matisse inhabit this house from 1921 to 1938.

Sorry but these are not the real colors, they are in fact more mellow. Too much saturation, but it makes a nice photo anyway.
